PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Chris is the managing partner and co-founder of Newman Town, PLLC. Chris oversees the assurance services and provides the strategic vision and leadership of the firm. Throughout his career Chris has provided assurance, tax and business advisory services exclusively to privately-held companies and organizations throughout the West Coast. While Chris maintains a strong focus servicing construction and real estate industries, he is well-versed in numerous industries including: Employee Benefit Plans, Gaming, Manufacturing, Not-for-Profits, Technology and Distribution. He assists his clients by providing tax preparation and planning services, assurance services, and business advisory services on a wide spectrum of issues including strategic and transition planning, budgeting and cash flow planning, accounting systems, accounting applications, and staff development and training.
Prior to forming Newman Town, Chris held partner and leadership roles in local firms in the greater Puget Sound region.

Chris is a Washington State Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA), and also a member of several professional organizations including: the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA), and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Chris has also been active in many trade associations related to the real estate and building industries, including Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Association (NAIOP), Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Utility Contractors Association of Washington (UCAW), and Associated General Contractors of Washington (AGC).
