PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
John is co-founder of Newman Town, PLLC, and oversees tax services and serves as the tax quality control partner. John has worked as a CPA in the greater Seattle area since graduating from college in 1994. John has worked at local, regional, and international accounting firms. Additionally, throughout his career, John has assisted privately-held companies and organizations headquartered in the Pacific Northwest. John has extensive tax and assurance experience with a broad array of industries including: real estate, construction, technology, professional services, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and mortgage lending, amongst others. John has significant experience representing clients with tax matters and controversies before the IRS, Washington State Department of Revenue, and other agencies.
Prior to co-founding Newman Town, PLLC, John has served in partner capacities since 2007 in local CPA firms in both Redmond and Seattle, Washington.
AFFILIATIONS
John is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, John serves as a board member on the finance committee at Faith United Methodist Church in Issaquah, Washington.
